Collaborating with Boys and Men as Gender Champions

Polycom Girls promotes gender equality by engaging both boys and men in efforts to create a just society. Through the Boys and Young Men (BYM) Edition Program, the organization has reached 1,957 participants—1,494 adolescent boys and 463 adult men—focusing on gender advocacy, sexual reproductive health, and mental health. By encouraging respectful dialogue and involving boys and men in gender-related campaigns and observances, Polycom fosters shared responsibility in challenging harmful practices like FGM and GBV, leading to greater awareness and positive behavioral change in communities.
