Pushing for Women Economic Empowerment and Economic Justice

Polycom Girls drives Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) in Nairobi, Kitui, and Homa Bay through initiatives like microfinancing, affirmative action funding, and money market support targeting women and young mothers in informal settlements. Since 2022, over 100 women-owned businesses have benefited, with increased financial literacy and access to credit. The organization also trains women on economic empowerment, connects entrepreneurs through mentorship, and advocates for the adoption of the National Women’s Economic Strategy across all 47 counties.
