Project Name: Her Digital Hub

Her Digital Hub, launched in January 2025 in Kibera, is a transformative initiative by Polycom Girls and Peace Child International, supported by the East African Philanthropy Network. The program empowers young women by providing access to digital tools, high-speed internet, and training to foster income generation and self-sustainability. Beyond a computer center, it serves as a dynamic space for acquiring digital skills, securing online employment, and contributing to community-based data collection on social issues like sexual harassment.

- Infrastructure Development: Renovated a dedicated space with electricity, tables, 5 laptops, and Starlink high-speed internet for reliable connectivity.

- Mentorship and Data Collection: Engages 15 mentors (12 girls, 3 boys) to collect and enter data on sexual harassment, contributing to community solutions.

- Training and Employment: o 20 young women completed digital literacy and online work training. o 8 consistently engaged in online work, 5 involved intermittently in digital projects. o Additional participants diversified into online data entry roles.
