Evalyne Swila joined Polycom as a Front Office Secretary / receptionist in-charge of typing and typesetting, training beginners in Computer packages, using scanners and use of the internet, managing petty cash and monitoring expenses. She is one of the pioneers of the Talking boxes project who did introductions in partner schools, mentorship of adolescent girls and contents collection. Later joined the women program in-charge of creating awareness on social acceptance of GBV and recruitment of Change Makers of GBV for both men and women, young and old (We Can Campaign). In-charge of women peace projects during the Post Election menace in 2007 (Nena Tenda Amani Project).
