Advancing Peace and Security for girls and women

Polycom Girls, inspired by their founder’s role in mitigating the 2007 post-election violence in Kibera, advances peace and security for girls and women through strategic community-based initiatives. Recognizing the disproportionate impact of violence on women, the organization creates safe spaces, fosters unity through sports, collaborates with institutions like the National Cohesion and Integration Commission, and trains women to become community leaders and peace advocates.
