Project Name: Generation Equality Forum

To enhance awareness and engagement of marginalized women and girls in Kenya with the Generation Equality Forum (GEF) commitments by translating and simplifying the four GEF commitments into Kiswahili and presenting them through accessible comic books, fostering feminist movement strengthening and advocacy for gender equality and the elimination of gender-based violence and female genital mutilation by 2026.

1.  Increased awareness among local women and girls of the GEF commitments and their roadmaps.

2.  Enhanced confidence and self-esteem among women and girls to engage stakeholders on gender equality issues.

3. Availability of user-friendly Kiswahili comic books on GEF commitments, accessible in Kibera, Nairobi, and other Kiswahili-speaking regions.

 4. Greater accountability of government and stakeholders in implementing GEF commitments.

5. Strengthened capacity of Polycom Girls to serve grassroots women and girls, amplifying their voices for sustainable change.

Contribution to Feminist Movement Strengthening

By making the GEF commitments accessible through simplified, culturally relevant comic books, the program empowers marginalized women and girls to understand and advocate for gender equality. This initiative bridges the gap between technical policy language and local communities, fostering inclusivity and enabling grassroots women to influence social change and hold stakeholders accountable.
