Project Name: Generation Equality Forum
To enhance awareness and engagement of marginalized women and girls in Kenya with the Generation Equality Forum (GEF) commitments by translating and simplifying the four GEF commitments into Kiswahili and presenting them through accessible comic books, fostering feminist movement strengthening and advocacy for gender equality and the elimination of gender-based violence and female genital mutilation by 2026.
- Translation: Translate the four GEF commitments into Kiswahili, ensuring cultural and contextual relevance.
- Content Development: Create simplified comic books in Kiswahili to make the commitments accessible and engaging for marginalized women and girls.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct consultative forums with key stakeholders, including government representatives, local and international organizations, and county officials, to validate the messaging and comic illustrations.
- Publication and Branding: Publish and brand the comic books for distribution in Kibera, Nairobi, and other Kiswahili-speaking regions.
